Apply for a Spay/Neuter Voucher
NC Pet Project provides financial assistance for qualifying pet owners across North Carolina.
How it works: Submit your application below. If approved, you will receive a voucher by email that can be redeemed at any participating veterinarian in our network. The voucher covers most or all of the spay/neuter surgery cost.
Eligibility
- Must be a North Carolina resident
- Must demonstrate financial need (Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, SSI, or income below 200% federal poverty level)
- Pet must be a dog or cat that is not already spayed/neutered
- Limit of 3 vouchers per household per year
